Today was Kim's memorial service. It was really nice. His sister set up a bunch of his stuff in the front of the chapel- shells, rocks from the beach, drift wood, glass floats- things he collected over the years, and lit candles. My step-dad Kim Peterson passed away on Tuesday evening. He died from aortic dissection, which he'd been fighting for four weeks. Please pray for my family, especially my mother and Kim's son, Sean, my step-brother. Yesterday was the longest day of my life. I will post a link to an online memorial. The Humane Society here is adopting out cats over 1 year old for free all through October.  They're already spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia, and they come with a month of free pet health insurance (incase something goes wrong within the first month).  There's a really cute one ( Read more... )
