Shower
Finally took a shower this morning, first time in a week. My foot's awefully sore but it was well worth it, afterall, sponge baths aren't too sexy when you give them to yourself. I did learn that I need to do a better job of tying the bags around my foot, got the bandage a little wet. -

My dad always tells me that I'm too damn smart for my own good. Today's example of this is finishing up a report that I thought I would be here until 10 or so working on (which I didn't mind too much since I took Monday off). For lack of a better phrase I have been ignoring my Taoist studies since I broke my foot. While this is what it is, neither good nor bad, I have felt a renewed desire to do some more reading and thinking as of late. Lunch
Good: Invited to lunch at the Faculty Club today.
Bad: Got there late due to building issues.
Mixed: Ended up speaking quite a bit at the lunch meeting.
Bader: Realized I didn't have my keys on me when I left (drove over due to foot).
Real Bad: Didn't see keys anywhere in my truck or nearby ground at first look.

Meditation
I wonder if it is normal to go into meditation when a minute earlier you were singing the Dead Kennedys "Too Drunk to Fuck" to yourself cause I did this evening. And no, I wasn't drunk and yes, it was a nice (still/empty mind) meditation.
