I love that song. Always have. Good old "old" Everclear. What the hell happened to them?

Well, I attribute it to the fact that the lead singer was old as dirt when they first made it big, and so as time went on things changed. I do like "Volvo Driving Soccers Moms", but that's about it of their newer stuff. There was some rumors a while back that their guitarist (don't know his name, younger guy with long curly black hair) was going to quit the band, or had actually quit and then rejoined, due to the direction the band was heading. To me, if you have a name like "Everclear", you should kick ass. :)

It was nice to see you. Hope you had a good drive home.

Good seeing you there, as well. Sorry about your windows being left down in the rain. For the record, I would have jumped up to help you except I was trapped in those damn small tables, and by the time I could get swung out you and Nick were already out there...

The drive home was very good, especially since I didn't have to stop for anything at all (had to stop twice on the way out there, my truck bed covers came loose and then I had to put some air in my tires, which ended up being way too big of an ordeal...).

No worries. It was a simple job- the car was close, and it was a matter of popping in and moving my fingers to automatic buttons.

I thought it was quite comical how I flew up, threw my glasses off, and ran outside. I rarely run, ever.

I didn't think it was actually possible.

... Glad to hear the drive home was better. I had some tire trouble two months ago (during a road trip). Part of it was because I was an ass, the other part wasn't my fault. Doesn't change the fact that two tires had to be replaced :-/

Yo, if you email me your postal address I will manage, at some point, to pop off a postcard if you are interested.

I'm happy you were there, as well.

And both of us offer a lot of ourselves and expect little in return. This is probably a key reason PSA has survived, a good reason that our friendship started (and survived), and certainly a key reason I'm still managing to get by.

So, even though you may say that this sort of thing is what you're here for, thanks.

Damn, what is this, catching up on Brian's LJ posts day? Should I call your boss and have her give you more crap to do? :)

Pretty much, yes, I'm catching up. :)

As for more work, trust me, I have plenty.

But my boss is out, so I can do it at my pace rather than worry about her poking a head in and seeing me on LJ. I'm more efficient with breaks timed as I need them, rather than just one per day at lunch.
