*Teru is one person again, the good and bad sides of him merged back into a single personality. They're merged a little more closely than they were before. The other-Teru really wasn't as horrible as he'd feared

Teru? I got more paper, and...

*Miles comes into the room, with a stack of blank paper in his hands, as well as the other odds and ends he's prone to picking up. When he sees that Teru is crying - that the cranes are lying every which way across the room - he just stares for a moment, before rushing over to the bed.*

Teru? W-what's...?

*he looks up and sees Miles and tries to say something, but for a while he can't get the words out, can't think how to explain*

...m-my mother... I'm...

*Miles puts the paper and everything else down on the floor, careful of Teru's cranes, kicks off his boots, and clambers up onto the bed.*

Are. Um - is she here? Is she okay?

*He moves closer to Miles, shivering* S-sixteen-year-old me was in the splitting room and he - other-me told him about Kira and he said... he - one of him told me...
