It took time, getting Merle to allow her to use one of his portals...mainly because she had to deal with the ramifications of being back from the dead. The joy, the tears...the hugs that made her skin crawl and the declarations of love and concern that made her ache inside.

"I'm okay!" he hurried to tell her, sitting up and grinning broadly.
How did you act on a date? He seriously didn't know, he had never given it much thought aside from the stuff you just read about or saw on TV. But the real deal? So different!
Was it actually a date if you just hung out to eat pizza and have a fight? If so then dates were officially awesome.
"Hi Terry! Wow, you got here fast!" Brushing himself off he jumped to his feet, excited and good-humoured. This was his secret, for now he was the one sneaking out and doing secret, awesome stuff he could brag later about, not Leo or Raph.

She finally laughed a little as she walked towards him, pushing her hair out of her eyes as she met him halfway. "Yeah...yeah, had to do a little meet and greet with Merle...Merlin...but then I just popped through the portal and...well, here I am!"
Grinning, she tipped her head a little as she gave him an assessing look, grinning. "Well, you sure are adorable. Way cuter than your pictures." she teased playfully. The guy was definitely high-energy, and downright peppy. Reminded her a little of Arthur Jackson's granddaughter, Rian...definitely not a bad thing.

He hurried back to the half-pipe and grabbed to pizza boxes stashed underneath. "And looook what I got for you!"

"Well, you sure know how to talk to a girl!" she laughed, nodding. "On behalf of my far less attractive zombie brethren, I thank you."
When he jogged over to the half-pipe, Terry chuckled as she followed him, but stopped short with a very real, very pleased grin at the sight and smell of fresh pizza emanating from the bona-fide grease spotted pizza boxes in his hands.
"Okay...I think I just fell in love with you, because I know I smell pepperoni." she grinned, moving to his side and accepting one of the boxes. "Least I think so...it's been three years and I've been dead ( ... )
