Dr. Harper, that means you and your hounds, I'm thinking. Eiko, how are ye at processing a crime scene, should we find one? And who'll be tending to Sarah while this is going on?"

"Forensics isn't a specialty, but I've done it." Eiko has left her combat machine parked on a rooftop, cloaked so as to not scare the neighbors. "I have a kit for it, as well. I've also got a search going on satellites that might have been watching Manhattan at the time, and..." She pauses, coughs, and then starts again.

"And I'm scanning for PINpoint signatures, so we can see if people are coming or going."

"Good. Hear that, everyone? Ye find anything--anything--suspicious, ye let Eiko know so she can look it over. No rushin' about steppin' on evidence."

I know alot about handling a crime scene investigation. I can tag along with Eiko.

Eiko nods. "Besides, you know how to Be A Cop, and I'm not good at that. If it comes to it, you'll probably be best at handling the gawkers."

"I'm just gonna grab a couple of people and start asking around... somebody's got to have seen something."

Terry nods. "Just be wary. We don't know what we're dealing with here. Don't hesitate to PINpoint out in a hurry if ye need to."

Claire snorts. "Believe me, I won't be playing hero. My ribs are still messed up. If trouble starts, I'm outta there and calling in backup."

She's not happy having to admit that, but it's there.

Derek was up against one wall towards the back of the group, dressed in urban cammos to blend in with the city's surroundings. He kept quiet through this part, noting who showed, who didn't, what folks were doing, where they would be working. His face was relatively impassive; his working mask set firmly in place. If anyone ever wondered how he'd gotten labled as 'laconic', they were getting a good, first hand idea of why right now.

He adjusted the web shooters Lady-Spidey (spider_mj) had given him for his birthday way back in May, making sure they stayed out of sight under the sleeves of his coat. He really had no intention of trying to imitate Peter, but if he needed a way up a wall or off a roof to keep up with whatever trail got left behind, they, and his repelling skills, would have to do.

"Only two questions," he finally spoke up, "Does anyone at least know the neighborhood he lived in? If not, what part of the city was he most likely to frequent? I'll be starting my search from there."

Claire shrugged. "I want to say Manhattan? Maybe Queens? He went all over New York City, really."

"That he did. Go borough by borough, is my advice."

She taps on the door, late to the meet up. Hoping she didn't miss anything too important.

"Hippolyta, come in." Terry was getting pretty nimble on her crutches. "Ye worked security on the Dwarf. Care t'join the trackers?"

She steps in and smiles weakly at the group. "Yeah. Tracking I can do. I can also knock heads together if need be. I also brought a friend." She holds up her AI remote watch, where Holly's goofy face peers out serenely.

"Might not be too much help, but what the hell."

"Oi, thanks a lot. I am a computer with an IQ of six thousand, you know. Not much help, she says," he mutters.

Don't worry about Sarah. She's with me. Distraught but safe, and being cared for.

I can't join the search, and likely wouldn't be welcome, even if I could, but I can still assist. I don't have much influence on 616 anymore, since leaving, but will still attempt to keep potentially disruptive elements (supercriminals, etc) focused elsewhere, for as long as possible.

Just find him, and let me know when you do.
