Siryn looked over the assembled. "Right. Derek and Claire, start combing through his New York. Anyone who's good at tracking, you're with them. Dr. Harper, that means you and your hounds, I'm thinking. Eiko, how are ye at processing a crime scene, should we find one? And who'll be tending to Sarah while this is going on?"

He adjusted the web shooters Lady-Spidey (spider_mj) had given him for his birthday way back in May, making sure they stayed out of sight under the sleeves of his coat. He really had no intention of trying to imitate Peter, but if he needed a way up a wall or off a roof to keep up with whatever trail got left behind, they, and his repelling skills, would have to do.
"Only two questions," he finally spoke up, "Does anyone at least know the neighborhood he lived in? If not, what part of the city was he most likely to frequent? I'll be starting my search from there."

I'll see what I can turn up.

I'll go to Stark Tower and see if they have some way to track him. It wouldn't exactly hurt to get the other Avengers in on this, right?

Also, that final message he sent out... the signal that triggered it had to come from somewhere, right?
Is there any way we can trace that?

"Hold on." She pulls out a PDA. "Beast, stop all program. Scan for PINpoint trace. 616. Earth. North America. New York City. Previous twenty-four hours."
There's a moment, and then she looks up from the screen. "Best I can give you is an area of Manhattan, West side, west of Sixth Avenue, between 30th and 45th Streets. Signal decay's gotten to it, so I can't get closer than that."

Claire looks around. "I'll start on 30th Street once I get done at Stark Tower."

Should I go with either of you, or wait as. . . backup?
((OOC: My character sees in the infrared spectrum and isn't too used to cities. Tracking someone across streets might be a challenge.
She might be useful in negotiating tall fences and walls or reaching fire escape ladders.
As backup, well, eight-foot-tall predator. But she's not too well equipped, and while she's a trained fighter, she's inexperienced.))

He nodded slightly. He hadn't seen Dante yet, hadn't been intro'd to other potential trackers, and hadn't been aware of this one's role in every thing, which is why he'd said 'I'.
But he knew better than to pass up help.
And hey, even if she was green as a willow shoot, he was used to working with that, too, thanks to his absent friend and student Sancho.
"We can work together. Maybe compliment each other. Infra-red might be hard around here, but not if we end up inside, and I'll have the scent tracking you don't. You'll have to be willing to move slower though--I'm no faster and no better at climbing than an average, if highly trained, human."

"I am ready to begin when you are. I will follow." She speaks in recorded words she's picked up, sometimes whole phrases, sometimes a patchwork--you try speaking English with no lips. "Are you expecting someone to try to stop us? The female mentioned 'backup.'"

He glanced over where Hippolyta was, motioning her over as he the heard instructions she was given.
