i don't think i've ever had real oatmeal, but when i eat the instant packet kind, i like to mix it with peanut butter! i make it with less water and add a big spoonful of peanut butter and it's stickydeliciousgoodness.

Peanut butter and oatmeal may be the best thing next to peanut butter and chocolate. I used to love these peanut butter oatmeal no-bake cookies until they got recalled. If I ever see them in stores again I'd be willing to take the risk and buy them.

I like all of those foods... but pomegranate juice is so expensive (at least around here) that I totally can't afford it on a regular basis.

Yeah, pure pom juice is expensive so sometimes I buy the Minutemaid pomegranate-blueberry instead. It's still 100% juice and tastes really good.

Isn't pomegrante juice expensive? Do they have it at family dollar?

Oatmeal/Wheat Bread/Yams are the bomb.

Yeah, pomegranate juice is expensive but when you work at a supermarket and have a UPC code printer your food bill can become a whole lot cheaper.

Ah, I totally missed the phallic imagery of those ads. It makes sense now.

My wife and I make out bread at home now. It's a little more money upfront but over the course of making flour it comes out saving money.
Pickles are the bomb. This year we are growing pickling cucumbers just to do that!

I've thought about making my own but figured that might be best left to the professionals. I do like going to a bakery and picking up breads like brioche and challah especially for French toast.
