I'm pretty sure the blurb on the back of the book says it all:
About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-- and I didn't know how dominant that part might be-- that thirsted for blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
But in case you needed more, ( Read more... )

Or in his case, he never ages, either!

Talking about vampire romances, Christina has a COLLECTION of them. There is one called Embraced by Darkness where the female lead is OMG PART WEREWOLF PART VAMP OMGZ and just reading that makes me go LOLZ and there is this other series that she absolutely adores because of a dude named Edward (srsly what's up with Edwards) and it's by Stephenie Meyer called New Moon.

BUT YES LOLZ VAMPIRES

New Moon is the sequel to Twilight. Edward Cullen = the Edward.

A vampire AND a werewolf?! HOW CAN THIS BEE??

Bahaha, I love your sarcasm.
Are you going to read New Moon? Because if you are, I can't wait to see your recount and pictures of that :)

The whole thing needs more Alice and Jasper! They frequently dazzle me.

I only read the first book, so they weren't in it very much.

Alice is just kind of kooky though.

her demeanor gets somewhat creepy in the other books when she isn't interacting with Jasper or Edward.

have you read Midnight Sun? thats really why *I* like Edward so much...

I'll bet. But I mean, most people in Twilight are creepy.

I just read the excerpt, and Edward is a better narrator than Bella, but I think I'd like him more if he were still killing people. I am glad you have a 100 year old virgin to love, though. Mmm, sparkles.

I love you so much right now. Where was this entry before I wasted my time reading the actual books? I'm glad I've never played a drinking game with this series, imagine having to take a drink every single time Edward's "ALABASTAR SKIN" is mentioned. Alcohol poisoning would kill us all dead.

MMM DELICIOUS ALCOHOL-FLAVORED DEATH.

I love how he's described as like, a nubile translucent Greek statue. It's great.

I know! And he's hanging around teenage girls. I'm sure there's a law against that in at least a couple of states.

I'm going to die by laughter when the movie comes out, I fear.

Don't be silly. The law bounces off of his CRYSTALLINE ABS.

OH MAN, I forgot about the movie. Clearly I will have to see it opening day and make a nuisance of myself at the theater :D :D
