I am so very frustated at the moment. After two years of teaching and completely my alternative licensure program in Arkansas, Tennessee is going to make to start all over. However, if I teach in AR for one more year, I'll be granted my TN License with no questions. HOW does that make ANY sense?! They'd rather have people who have never taught ( Read more... )

Poor Bearcats. Despite my deep-bred hatred for the Gators, I knew this was going to be a slaughter. I'm not 100% sure that the Bearcats have EVER played an SEC team before. So much for a perfect season.

So, I know I'm done and ready to leave a place when I start packing up my bookcases...

Three shelves empty and three boxes packed. Unfortunately, I'm here until June.

So, for the first time in almost a year and a half (ie. since I left Cincinnati), I'm actually putting some work into my thesis proposal. The proposal is the next step towards finishing my Masters. I think some people don't know what to do if no one is talking.  One of these people would be my roommate.  Additionally, she cannot talk w/o yelling.  Consequently, I'm slowly going even more deaf than I already am....

I'm sick of being mommy to a 22-year old college graduate.  Having a college degree does not correlate with knowing how to be adult!

So, simply put... Life is good at the moment.

Despite the fact that I feel like a total failure as a teacher, I'm happy for the first time in a REALLY long time.  I think I'm on the way to getting my life on a good path.
