These are gorgeous, Teri. Though I don't understand WHY the "bows and arrows" one is called that, even after looking at the close-up until I'm cross-eyed.

The columns with the 'heavier' stitches are the arrows pointing down. The lacy bits between look like bows...as in bow-ties. It took me a little while to see it, myself. :-) Oh, and thanks!

Thanks! I'm really enjoying making things. As a costume-maker yourself, you probably can't relate to this, but I've never been any good at making things with my hands. So it's been a real wonder to find out I can actually crochet fairly competently. :-D
