okay, enough is enough

The weather is starting to really bum me out. Cold and rainy through the weekend. I think this one takes the record for the cloudiest, rainiest early June I can remember in Portland, and I've been here for a while. Usually by now it's starting to warm up and dry out, but not this year. I'm all gussied up in cashmere sweater, fleece pants, cashmere ( Read more... )

It's only June 4. My birthday is the 24th and it's usually only warm a week or so before then.

When is your birthday?

The 13th. I always take Renn Fayre as the arbiter of when it stops raining - and that's late April or early May. (It's ALWAYS raining at Renn Fayre) I don't really know - this is what's handy about LJ archives; I can go back and check and see if I mention the weather!

Of course I could just be whiny and confused, which is definitely possible.

Well, in my experience you'd have a great time in the SU and then months later you'd get in trouble because you'd mentioned on Livejournal that you had a great time in the SU. Also, in my experience, if any administrators fuck with you they'd wind up immediately being fired in disgrace for unrelated reasons, and if anybody else fucks with you further they'd get stomped by an angry mob which then blames the whole thing on an inanimate cement bird. If anybody fucks with you after that the whole place would get humiliated via local journalism. After all these disasters no one will make the connection between how they fucked with you and why their whole world is in ruins.

My attending Reunions at this moment might possibly constitute Commercial Trespass IV but I'm thinking just for basic freedom of speech reasons that Livejournal is not a good enough reason for this to be Commercial Trespass IV.

I enjoy this freedom of speech concept quite a bit actually.
