okay, enough is enough
The weather is starting to really bum me out. Cold and rainy through the weekend. I think this one takes the record for the cloudiest, rainiest early June I can remember in Portland, and I've been here for a while. Usually by now it's starting to warm up and dry out, but not this year. I'm all gussied up in cashmere sweater, fleece pants, cashmere toque, and wool scarf - oh, and don't forget the fleece socks over regular socks, and a blanket, and a cat on me. I'm finally warm enough to handle sitting still. Indoors. There are summer dresses I really want to be wearing, doggone it.
I am starting to wonder if my birthday is going to get rained out after all. I sure hope not. I guess I ought to come up with a Plan B just in case. I wonder what campus security would do if I just led a convoy over to Reed and took over the S.U. They'd probably get pretty mad, seeing as I've given the school no money, and I am blowing off Reunions yet again this year (and I REALLY, REALLY wanted to go this year, but other events suddenly presented themselves and I forgot and scheduled them without remembering that Reunions is this weekend. The retrograde has beaten me with a stick).
