I have learned to hate eBay in a whole new way, now that it's become one of the primary components of my job. I fucking hate these auctions that end at like 11pm on Sunday night, and some dickhead ends up outbidding me on something that I really need to get. I want to call up the auction winners and scream at them "Why the fuck do you need this

I dunno if this would be helpful to you or not, but eBay has some kind of feature you can use that sends notices to your cell if you get outbid on something.

It doesn't matter when the auction ends at midnight or something, though - nor will it help if I'm outbid at the last minute. I can't get to a computer fast enough to raise my bid if there's only 15 seconds on the clock. I am literally being outbid with less than 30 seconds left in the auction, so... oh well.

I have to get up tomorrow morning and get on the website first thing - my next auction ends at 7:30a.m. Pacific, so if I want that comic, I'd better get up and get on it.
