Monday morning rant: fuck eBay
I have learned to hate eBay in a whole new way, now that it's become one of the primary components of my job. I fucking hate these auctions that end at like 11pm on Sunday night, and some dickhead ends up outbidding me on something that I really need to get. I want to call up the auction winners and scream at them "Why the fuck do you need this vintage comic? Why do you have to take it from me? Ok you won it - now sell it to me! I'll give you double your winning price, you computer-assisted jackass!"
Argggggh. I am never going to get over missing that #3 - outbid by $14 on a $500 comic. Son of a bitch. If only I had thought to check the fucking website before I went to sleep. This is, I guess, my version of being "on call", except that I don't get paid any more than I usually do to do it. Serves me right.
I guess I'm not going to be fixing my shitty attitude anytime in the next few minutes at least... sorry, humanity.
