Arashi Household Series (Introduction)

Nov 11, 2009 14:07

I'm starting a series of oneshots/drabbles that I call "Arashi Household".
Basically it's an AU story, a perfect world in my twisted mind, where Arashi lived under the same roof. Here’s a bit of explanation about their role in this series:

Ohno Satoshi, the oldest of them all, is an artist who paints and make sculptures. He didn't show his art in huge exhibition. He has a friend who owns a small shop in the suburbs of Tokyo, and that's where he put his art. He occupied the room on the first floor. It worked as a bedroom at the beginning. But with the increasing amount of art supplies, canvases, and a huge table where he put his unfinished sculptures, he decided that it's time for him to call it the "art room". So now whenever night comes and he felt the need to sleep, he switches from one room to another each time, whoever is willing to give him space in the bed. Or the sofa in the living room.

Sakurai Sho works in a television network company in Minato area. He started as a reporter, but then after finishing his study of Economy in Keio University, he was made an anchor for late night news. He still go for field reportage some times. Sho's friend,  Tsuyoshi, owns a shop that sells art from minor artists. He saw a piece of an abstract painting, and is curious to know who the artist was. That’s when Tsuyoshi introduced him to Ohno. Sho's parents lend him money to buy the house mortgage. He and the other four is still paying it back every month to Mr. and Mrs. Sakurai. Sho is in charge of the household’s financial.

Aiba Masaki loves animals. He works in a zoo where he’s in charged of the petting zoo zone. Yes, he likes kids too. Every day he leaves early at 7 and comes home at 6. He works on weekend too, but only for a few hours. He respects the owner, Shimura-san, so much that he’s been working there for 5 years now. Aiba is a bundle of curiosity. If one come home one day to find the kitchen splattered with burned marshmallows and a broken toaster, it’s only because Aiba wondered if he can make smores without using the stove.

Ninomiya Kazunari is a brat that could spend 2 days without sleeping or eating until he finally collapsed and end up whining. He loves video games. That is why now he works as a contributor writer in a gaming magazine company. The reason why he likes this job is that because he could work from home, got good payment, and free new released games every month. It’s heaven. The TV in the living room is a 27” flat due to his request (not that anybody mind), with 3 types of different video game console neatly placed next to it. He goes everywhere with a handheld console in his arm. Sho and Nino has been best friends since junior high and was in the band together at the time. Sho decided to leave his music career behind, while Nino once in a while play a tune or two with his guitar.

The youngest in the house is Matsumoto Jun. He was working as a model for men fashion magazine. He may look cocky, but he’s actually the most caring of them all. He’s spoiled because the others are indulging him. He might be the youngest, but sometimes he’s the one who took Sho’s place to run the house when the newscaster is not around. He makes sure the house is clean, the laundry are separated by colors, and there are enough food in the fridge. And he cooks. Oh, and he has the biggest bed in the house.

Some WARNING about the series:

The story won’t have timelines because I’m gonna be writing it oneshot style. As for their relationship, I think I'm gonna make it clear because I seem to be misleading some of the readers. Although this series might looks like it's based on My Girl PV, this isn't.
I planned this series way before I know about My Girl PV. So just to make it clear, THEY ARE NOT SIBLINGS. Let's just say that in my perfect world, they are men of many love...
...and they're being versatile with each other:P (Read: yaoi pairing issued)
So, I hope you enjoy it! :)
