Author's Notes: Written for spn_30snapshots, prompt #28 from A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words table.
My thought process went like this: Get out of jail free card! Obviously, having an angel on their side would make any encounters with law enforcement kind of... not a threat. At all.

Dean should’ve listened to his gut. His gut told him that it wasn’t a good idea to pull over and have sex in the backseat.

Except Dean didn’t let his gut do the thinking. Not with the way Castiel kept looking over at him. Dean knew what was going on in Castiel's head, he’d gotten used to that look.

And who was Dean to tell Castiel no? The guy had been living for thousands of sexless years. Dean had a lot to make up for.

To Dean’s credit, they were in the middle of nowhere when he pulled over. He didn’t really expect a cop to come knocking on the window, checking to see if everything was alright.

And really, everything was alright up until that point. What with Castiel lying on top of him, hand down his pants, mouth against his mouth.

Dean awkwardly reaches around to roll down the window, gently trying to nudge Cas off him. It takes three nudges, and a couple of stops before Dean resorts to roughly pushing at Castiel.

Castiel takes the hint and sits up, but that’s it.

“Evening officer,” Dean smiles as he turns his head to greet the cop.

Before the cop even has a chance to respond, Castiel asks rather sternly. “Is there a problem, officer?”

Dean would’ve kicked Castiel, except Castiel is still straddling his legs. Instead he just smiles and hopes this cop doesn’t think Castiel is being a smart ass.

Except, even Dean thinks Castiel is being a smart ass, and Dean knows better.

“I was going to ask you boys the same thing,” the cop says. Dean doesn’t like the sound of his voice.

“We’re just uh, having a little fun,” Dean answers.

“Yes. We’re not currently having any problems. Thank you for your concern,” Castiel adds rather politely, before leaning back over to kiss Dean.

“Whoa, whoa,” Dean put his hands out, effectively stopping Castiel. “Not right now, Cas.”

Dean squeezes his eyes shut as the cop’s flash light is suddenly shone directly into his eyes. He really wants to clock the cop for that, but despite what others may think, he can control himself. Sometimes.

Castiel doesn’t even blink when the light is shone in his face and Dean mentally sighs, because that isn’t awkward.

“I need you boys to get out of the car.”

Dean doesn’t need this right now. He pulls his legs out from under Castiel and thinks about reaching down to grab his shirt off the floorboard. He doubts the cop would appreciate the movement, so he doesn’t.

Except when he looks back to get out of the car, the cop isn’t there.

“Cas?”

“Yes, Dean?”

“Why didn’t you do that before?”

“It might have been an emergency of some sort,” Castiel answers before he pushes Dean back against the inside of the door.

“Wait, where'd you send him?”

“Does it really matter?”

Dean stops to think about it for a second and realizes it isn’t really important. He smirks as he grabs Castiel’s tie and pulls him in for a kiss. “No, it doesn’t.”
