Oh poor silly rodent! When they start behaving in such a way it's almost impossible to keep an eye on them. Some extra playmates might work out for them. I can't remember, it's been decades since I've had mice..

Indeed, I call her Silly Lilly when she is scratching. I don't see how a human can be interactive enough to interrupt/distract from OCD behaviors. Today after the vet visit I scored three new youngsters, so after quarantine and introductions I am hoping they will be just the thing Lilly needs to put her attention elsewhere.
