There is a gourmet bake shop near my house, the cakes are gorgeous, delicious and rather expensive. They make my favorite cake, a chocolate, raspberry cake with white chocolate mouse. Since the cake cost $28.00, I only indulge on my birthday. Since they were redoing the display cases they didn't have a wide variety of cakes. Hubby did go to another bakery and get me a small cake, just so I could have cake on my b day. Of course today the bakery is in full swing but hubby dd say he would get the cake for me this weekend or next.

I understand about wanting to wait. We waited a couple of years after Gracie passed before we got another dog. *hugs you*

We waited a year after our first dog died to get our 2nd dog (who I loved with my whole heart) and 6 months after he died my son asked us to take Duck.

I know it's best to wait but I miss having a pet. Plus we aren't getting any younger and at our age it's a big decision.
