Quick Drive by
I'm on my way out the door, to work but wanted to do a quick post to thank everyone for all the lovely Birthday wishes.
I had a lovely day. Hubby and I went to a local animal shelter. We didn't come home with a pet because it too soon after Duck's passing but I missed seeing a pet every day. Going to the shelter helped me but was upsetting to hubby. We then went out to lunch and did a little shopping.
The bad thing was my favorite bakery was doing renovations and only partially open and I couldn't get the cake I wanted. *pouts* Hopefully they will be fully open this weekend and I'll get the my cake then. I know this is very child like but, to me, it doesn't feel like a birthday without cake.
All in all it was a nice day.
