Day 30 -- whatever tickles your fancyFor my last "tickles your fancy" I'm going to do some shameless self promotion. Below the cut isn't the first banner I ever made but it is the first banner, I made that I was pleased with the out come. It's a spuffy version of "When Harry met Sally" movie

Thanks, it was definitely one of my better early pieces. Which isn't saying much since a lot of my early pieces were total crap.

Thank you! In 2009 my A/W skills still needed improvement. I still hadn't done much with textures and I hadn't done much experimenting with color but I like this banner.

It's incredibly witty (Spike's gesture and stance are especially perfect, a combo of "What the hell happened here?", "Who ate the blooming onion?" and "Who, me?")

I think humor counts for a lot in a/w especially fan art.

(btw my eyes keep falling on your second Winged Buffy banner "Transformed" and it's still one of my favorite of your pieces. Even in that tiny size it's incredibly pretty.)

I actually prefer the first winged Buffy. Probably because it's a manip and I'm always please when they turn out not looking as if they were a Frankenstein project.
