Into the wild...

I went to see Sean Penn's film INTO THE WILD last night with sakirmo. Yes, it finally opened here in Turku. I've always liked his films but what REALLY made me want to see this was the soundtrack by Eddie Vedder. I've had the cd for a couple of months now and I loved hearing the songs on the big screen! Hei, mitä pidät tuosta Kostovan Historioitsijasta? Ostin sen joskus jostain alesta tosi halvalla (taisi maksaa 2 euroa...), mutta en ole saanut sitä ainakaan vielä luetuksi. Tosin yrityskään ei ole ollut kova, koska kirja on tällä hetkellä Suomessa ja mie Ruotsissa, hah. Mutta siis, kannattaako lukea? Kannattaako edes yrittää lukea? :D

No, minä olen sivulla 14 joten en oikein osaa sanoa vielä. ;) Vaikuttaa kyllä mielenkiintoiselta kun tykkään vampyyreistä... Palaan asiaan kunhan kirja etenee (nyt ei lukemisesta tullutkaan mitään vaan juutuin livejournaliin).

Moreover, I am now stupidly proud of saying that I can understand Eksimo asking how you like "The Historian" and saying that she bought it for 2 euros but hasn't read it, yet...Right?! I also have that book, but havet read it yet....

Yay, your understanding of Finnish is excellent! :) "The Historian" seems interesting, it's great to read some vampyric stuff after quite a while.

I'm curious to see how well you'll understand Ellen's svenska. :)

OMG! Ellen is a little person now! It's so crazy how fast they grow! I hope she feels better soon.

I think I'm going to have to see Into The Wild once it comes on cable. I'm so bad at renting videos and it's already out of the theaters in the US.

I'm going to a spa next weekend with some friends. Nothing crazy though. Possibly massages and definitely pedicures. We all need a huge stress relief as work has been crazy lately.

I totally know what you mean about 'Into The Wild' being too long!! Good story and all, but no matter what, I get fidgety after 2 hours! The book is supposed to be very good, too.

Ellen looks all grown up now! She's beautiful :) And I think it's amazing that she's already speaking two languages!

I liked 'The Historian' - I think it would be a good book for a boring afternoon at work :)
