ahh reading this makes me so happy. I'm really glad you posted it and shared on the comm. Since it's been a while since I saw him last I almost forgot what an awesome feeling it is to be part of the Comiyavi and how easy it is to be proud of him and how much he's achieved and how far he's come. Thank you so much for making the time to write this up! ♥
I like how you mention Miyavi's shyness. It's good for foriegn fans who don't yet know this to be informed about a very important part of his personality. Personally, i find his shyness to be one of the best parts of his personality because it shows how human he actually is.
Great review, Steffu-chan! Miss you!!! hope your having fun and are staying safe!
Aaahh it sounds like you had a lot of fun! I never really knew about Miyavi being shy, but it's good to know & I think it's kind of cute. His stage personality is just so big it's hard to think in actuality he's shy.
This was a great review, I hope you continue to have fun & make friends! <3 One day I hope to be able to go to some of his other shows & make friends.
He's shy on stage sometimes. He'll put himself out there, and be a little more goofy, and a little more...vulnerable with the fans over here because I think they've built up a trust with him that he relies on. So when he starts singing Sekai wa Mawaru and is like...barely able to remember TYKO's rap but sings it anyway for us, it's a sign of the deep relationship he has with his fans over here that simply hasn't had time to develop internationally.
I really hope everyone can get to at least one of the Japan shows, or even just make friends with the KoMiyavi over here. They're all really cool kids, and it's been lots of fun seeing him, and meeting everyone ^_^
I've seen him on stage in the US just this past summer, but I think I was too in awe of him to really see him. I'll admit, I was stunned I was even there. XD But I'm sure he feels he can relax more with his fans in Japan more than those overseas, though I hope he'll get more comfortable! I'd love to see him as his Japan fans do.
I think it'd be fun to see him in Japan & make friends with his fanbase there! New people & experiences & adventures are good for the soul. <3
Even though my Japanese is pretty broken, which makes the MCs usually go right over my head, I really enjoy the shows over here. The fans are really forgiving of me not speaking Japanese well.
I really need to work hard so I can get my degree and move here, lol. Having to fly back and forth from Canada for tour is really expensive.
just saying hi! lol. I remember your reports from last year--they were really good! And it sounded like you had such a great time. Hope this year is as fun for you!
Also, I'll be at the Osaka show (so you know, say Hi! haha); I'm excited to see Miyavi again. :D
(this is the same person--inadreambox--just on my 'other' account 'cause I'm too lazy to log out and back in)
cool. we should definitely meet up! I'll be rushing straight from work to the concert, don't know if I'll have anytime before the concert starts, but for sure, after!! :D
I'm so happy to have read this! Thank you for posting it, I'm going to see him at the London gig! I'm so happy! I have been waiting years, and I couldn't go the last time he came, I was so upset T-T He sure has matured ne? aww ~ I hope the gig will be as awesome as this one sounded! Thank you again! (:
