A spokesperson for the BBC has told ATV Today that there are ‘no plans’ to order a second series of the BBC One drama Single Father. The four-part drama aired on BBC One in the Autumn on Sunday evenings opposite Downton Abbey on ITV1. [Seriously, after seeing SF, I googled Suranne and found out about her other tv drama, Unforgiven. Bought it from Amazon and was really impressed with her in it. She's v. good, imo.]

I was relatively happy with how it rounded out, though I kinda thought shiiiiiit poor guy is now going to have 6 kids to deal with!

I understood it to be like Recovery, telling one story in an extended format.
It ends with him not single so how could it even be called Single Father?
I wouldn't want to see a pointless sequel just for the sake of it.
