Honestly, I'm kinda relieved. SF was great until the end. The last few minutes almost ruined it for me. In my mental canon, there's no pregnancy shenanigans.

I agree - SF started out awsome and was incredibly average at the end.

There were four episodes? Why did I only remember seeing three Sunday's worth? What did I miss?

Yeah, there were four. What's the last bit you remember seeing?

He comes by her house, sees she's moving away, he tells her he loves her, she does a bit of crying and tells him, oh by the way I tricked you at the hotel and now I'm pregnant. He says he doesn'tcare and we are left to presume they live HEA, or maybe not.

Is that not the last bit?

I know I saw the last episode. I'm sure I saw them all. Hmmmm. Doesn't say much for the show if I'm actually forgetting entire episodes, does it?

I didn't realize that it was even up for that kind of consideration. No, I think the story was pretty well told in the four episodes given, though I think what would have made it even better would have been being given five to six episodes to tell the same story, so that episode four didn't feel so rushed. Too late now, though.

(And I think I would have been more bummed out about it not being picked up again if Dave was still a "single" father at the end of it. Taking up a relationship with Sarah puts him in relatively the same position he was at the beginning of the series, albeit with a different partner. The title wouldn't really make sense for this point in life.)

Well, CRAP. The story was left hanging. I'd love to know what the characters were going to do.

Never even thought there was any question of there being a second series, so this seems to have been a bit of a non story to be put out there. Strange!

Agreed Del.

Having been at the first ep preview, I never assumed there'd be another series.

Unfortunately, the first epsiode was written over years, the 2nd a few months and the 3rd & 4th a few days. Not that I didnt like the story, even the pregnancy plot. Ybh I dont think she set out to get pregnant by HIM, but by her partner. If she went off birth control, then slept with him, realised she was pregnant & disappeared... that makes sense. But the writing in the last episode could have been tightened up. But even so... people screw up. They're human, and I rather liked that the writer didn't make Sarah a perfect person. She does shitty stuff, and the ending isn't all "happily ever after".
