OPEN LOG: CARWASH

Aug 02, 2008 20:19

The results of the last camp event had pleased Sakamoto Jin so greatly, he decided to take his perverse fantasies one little step further.
"CAR-WASH - ALL BENEFITS GO TO CHARITY"
He looked at the banner fondly, on which a generic bishounen-type individual was printed in white tennis shorts and with a slop of bubbles on his left cheek. The same banner ( Read more... )

A carwash made more sense, really. Kawamura liked helping people out, after all, and the profits were supposed to go to charity and everything. The banner was certainly disturbing, but he'd come to the conclusion that everything at this camp would end up appearing disturbing. That didn't mean it necessarily would be, right?

So he showed up to help, carrying a bucket, some rags, and a thing of liquid soap.

Dan had arrived, his headband slipping over his eyes as usual, a large pail balanced in both his arms. Being unsure of what to bring, he had found the bucket in the bathroom, unused and somewhat mouldy.

"Aa, you're Kawamura-san from Seigaku!" he exclaimed when he laid his eyes on a tall, familiar figure, nearly dropping his item.

"Oh, hello!" Kawamura smiled, "Umm, Dan-kun, right?" He eyed the bucket warily--it might be a little too big for the small boy to hold on his own, considering how he nearly dropped it. "Do you need any help with that?"

"Iyaa, it's okay desu!" Dan tried to reassure his senior, but the red plastic bucket slipped out of his grasp the minute he finished his sentence.

Jumping a bit, Dan rushed towards what he had dropped (it was rolling further away from the two) and picked it up hurriedly.

"I'm sorry desu!" he managed to say to Kawamura, giving an apologetic smile.

Carrying absolutely nothing, Sengoku inched over to where the carwash was. He hoped he wouldn't be penalised for his lack of tools. After all, this event was somewhat unexpected.

Some people were already here, but there didn't seem to be many cars around.

Kabaji really didn't know what to do with himself. Atobe was never around. He showed up at the car wash knowing that he could probably be helpful, but really just looking for someone to tell him what to do. Not many people were here yet, though.

Suddenly shadowed by a large object, Sengoku turned around to see Kabaji standing behind him.

"Yo," he managed to grin at the younger boy from his twenty centimetre height difference.

Kabaji blinked at Sengoku. He had never been good at talking to people, and he'd been pretty good at avoiding doing so for most of his life. "...Yo," he replied. ...Now what was he supposed to do?

Choutarou found himself heading to where the carwash event was. He couldn't not go to a charity event that would be rude. It made more since than going to the pool. He hadn't known if he was supposed to bring anything. It wasn't like he had anything to begin with that would be useful.Plus he figured there would be supplies to use when he got there.

When he arrived he noticed a lot of people already there.

Well, just look whom Niou had stumbled upon. His eyes lit up with a childish glee as he headed for the taller boy.
As was expected, Niou had dressed for the occasion - a black tank top, running shorts, and a straw hat.
Grinning, he slipped grabbed Ootori's left arm, whispering his offer of a holy palmer's kiss.

Choutarou almost jumped when he felt the arm grab him. His face went red when he heard the offer. "No thanks." He declined and tried to pull his arm away.

Kaidoh heard about a charity carwash and decided it would be best to go. He went, empty handed, as he had no clue what would be of use. As he arrived he looked around for any familiar people.

Inui showed up at the carwash to do his part in helping. He walked over to Kaidoh when he saw him.

Well, even if the idea was weird - wasn't this a tennis camp - a little bit of charity wasn't a bad thing, so Fuji decided - maybe against better judgment - to attend this even as well. As he arrived, dressed in a light, pink t-shirt - car washing could get both hot and wet, and he didn't want to work up a sweat, thank you very much - a pair of white shorts and pink crocs to complete the picture, he noticed that quite a few familiar faces were there - even that hot dog seller from the pool party, weirdly enough. He decided to ignore the man for now, and instead walked up to collect a bucket and a sponge. Time to get to business~

"Oishi!" Fuji smiled brightly, putting the bucket down. "I don't know yet, I just came here." He stretched lazily, looking curiously at his old friend. "And you?"
