My spending has gotten really out of hand lately, to the point where I'm questioning my sanity. For that reason, I am setting a goal (and reward) for myself. If I can make it through the rest of the summer (that's until the end of August) without any more frivolous spending, I will reward myself with a piece of Bloodmilk jewelry. not eating out is the biggest thing i spend money on, so buying groceries (esp. at the farmers market in the summer) and cooking really helps. i hope you have been well, amy! i'm sorry i didn't get to see you before i left but i will be visiting chicago soon!

Yes, food is definitely a big one for me! I don't know why, but even if we have a kitchen full of food, I will always find a reason to buy more food at Target, or even more likely, order something. It's almost as if there is something special about ordering food to me, and Lord knows I love what I shouldn't (or can't) have. I am definitely going to start cooking at home more often - thanks for the tip!

I'm doing really well! It's so nice to be home for the summer. How is New York? I never asked what inspired your move! Are you going to live there long? I would love to hang out whenever you come back to Chicago.

im the same way. i looooove the experience of going to a restaurant to eat, too.

ny is really fun and beautiful and interesting. i just kind of made a split second decision to move here. not sure how long i will be here - indefinitely at this point, but i cant lie, i do miss chicago!
