Well, I had a meeting today and was informed I lost out on the Associate Product Manager Position, BUT, not only was I first runner up, but they are working on getting me into marketing regardless. SO, there is good news out of it

Yes, it is...and yes, the entire freaking world will know when i graduate. I mean, after 8 years of college, I deserve one helluva party...the whole time I have worked full time here at the tool, part time for clinique, and still taken 3 classes every semester...its been tough, but I have no student loans and I have tons of experience which will make up for all the time spent in college and hard work. hehehe

If I didn't have science as a major, I would have done college the way you did it....

Will you quite Clinique when you graduate and enjoy your weekends? Is your job going to give you a raise, or a new position when you graduate?

Well, they are working on giving me a new position before I graduate with a raise. i will be in a position that requires a degree, which I already am. I have been doing marketing for the last year and a half. they will just move me higher. Once I get my degree I'll definitely move even higher up.

No, I will not quit clinique. I RARELY work for them, and I love the free make-up. I do not do it for the money, just for the heck of it. I worked one day this whole month, and all I did was catch up with friends. If I was still at a counter, i would definitely quit, but as an artist, its too much fun to leave.
