Let down, on a happy note.
Well, I had a meeting today and was informed I lost out on the Associate Product Manager Position, BUT, not only was I first runner up, but they are working on getting me into marketing regardless. SO, there is good news out of it.
They guy who got it has a degree in engineering and a masters in business, so its not like i lost out to some slug.
I am very proud of myself for being next in line though!!! He said they interviewed 8 people total. WOW...for chick, in the power tool industry, without a degree, I am kicking ass. Boyd stated they are working with HR and Marketing to make room for me in the budget and dept. and hopefully in January or February I will know more info. They are all very impressed with me and think that I will be a good asset to marketing, so thats flippin' sweet.
