Animal Rights Mayhem

Alright, it's rant time. Some of you that read this journal are probably pro animal rights. Some of you -might- even support PETA. Well, I've got a few things to say on this subject. I'm an animal lover, and I'm all about animal respect, and I'm all about leaving wild animals where they should be: in the wild.

BUT.... domesticated animals are just that, domesticated. They could probably survive in the wild, but thanks to our selective breeding, we'd be doing them FAR more of a disservice by "setting them free" than just keeping them and caring for them. They're not as developed as the animals already out in the wild, not to mention they'd just spread disease and stuff rampantly.

Does anyone in these four-letter organizations (like PETA or FEMA) actually have a freaking BRAIN??

heh, good call. I guess I should have asked: can anyone understand the mind of a creature of another species, let alone the minds of all creatures of other species? Becuase these PETA nuts sure seem to think they know what's best for them all.
