Yep! I have a whole other meta thing about how Trek XI actually validates the last four decades of Treklit and comics et al as legitimate canon (particularly given the sheer number of little character notes that were lifted directly from Treklit, like, oh, everyone's names) but it's one of those things that'll have to wait until I am doing writing this bloody series of posts.

Although T'Pau as a reformer is weird to me. I know Enterprise created a completely unexpected backstory for her. For me it's a bit of too little, too late. My head canon was set.
