It's been a while since I made a general life update, so
I'm not sure I have anything particular to say, really, other than that it's been awhile. I'm still in Japan, and I've renewed my contract so I'm gonna be here another year and a half. Then off to some other place for me, I think. I am young, I am free, I cannot be tied down! The depression's been better lately, between the Real Live Friends Nearby

And yeah! Robin McKinley's Sunshine. It's only like one of my favorite books ever. :) I would love a sequel to it, but it's probably never going to happen, even though McKinley assures us it might. My headcanon is that there's an alliance of Con-ish vampires and sorcerers working together to combat the vampires who want to take over the world, and that's where Sunshine's family is. But possibly not entirely-in-the-world. I want to know where her grandmother is! I want Mel to be an inter-planal sorcerer messenger! I want to know what happpeeeens!
And I really want RECIPES for all the awesome desserts in that book.
You've read it, right? How do you feel about it?
I am really liking this haircut! It's prone to disturbing amounts of accidental verticality, but it's generally awesome nonetheless. And I am super excited about Yuletide.
