Oh wow, this is fantastic, both in concept and execution. I love that you revisited one of your previous fics with the flipped perspective, and what you revealed about Daniel here. I especially adored the flashes at the end of his life, seeing Charlotte in England and making the connection, finally, to his tears at the wreckage. Really great!

I really liked this, especially how he started flashing through time and how you used that to make sense of of a few things, like Charlotte's comment about marrying and american and Dan's crying in front of the tv.
