Oh, I loved this really. It was great how you went through everyone's reactions at what I recall as the Second Most Painful Moment in Lost's history after Do No Harm, also because they're exactly what I would have pictured them to be

Thanks so much! I have to admit that I did actually wonder if you would like this, given that it's S1 ensemble fic where Boone doesn't have a section, so this is great feedback to receive!

I'm still half thinking about a fic where Paulo does climb, (as he should!!) and I do want to develop both the Jin/Sun and Michael and walt sections further at some point, but having just posted 3 fics I think I'll give the f-list a bit of a break from my stuff for a while!

That's also the time I most dislike Locke, I have to admit I've only ever once been able to bring myself to watch Do No Harm once (but may have to soon for another fic!)

P.S. remember that conversation ages ago where you said something about how in your personal canon, Desmond continued to wake every 108 mins for ages, and I said it inspired me to write a penny and Nadia post rescue fic? it's up!

Thanks so much for this fic! Sorry, I'm responding so late (I've been away on holiday). This was a great moment to bring all the characters together. Boone's death was really the only one that was properly mourned on the show. I especially loved the touch of how Boone's death reached out to Desmond and Ana Lucia's group in a way. I loved Sayid and Charlie's parts too. Thank you!

Considering that I went on holiday to Edinburgh in the middle of the luau and had to do lots of catch up in August, you have nothing to apologise for!

You're right, Boone's the only death that was properly mourned - I was totally hacked off with the lack of mourning for Charlie, in fact abandoned a fic which involved Claire reading the paper that Desmond was meant ot give her at Charlie's memorial, causing Jack and Sawyer to reflect on what would they write in the same circumstances, but S4 kind of put me off that fic. It's still around somewhere but I don't know if I'll go back to it.
