Nicely done! I think this is the first fic I've seen from Carole's viewpoint and it works very well - is that another character ticked off your list? :)

I love the juxtaposition of all these different last summers, especially the one with Carole and Aaron in the future -- such a neat take on what could happen.

Thank you! As far as Aaron goes, I do have a WIP involving the next generation which will go into that from Aaron's POV, did start out as a luau offering but was abandoned when it started getting crazily out of hand and if I'd finished that for the luau, I wouldn't have had chance to give to any other queens. (In fact it's a relief the luau's over as I have 2, possibly 3, series ongoing!)
