Episode 4x09 is certainly the most sympathetic I've ever felt towards Ben, for the reasons above. Got to admit though, something I had been thinking about is, what must it have been like for Danielle, since the last thing she would have heard was Alex saying "I'm Ben's daughter"? Don't know if I'll ever end up writing that one though ( ... )

These were all very good. No surprise here that the ones for Sawyer and Desmond were my favorites, but to be fair, I do think they were the best written of the lot. ;) Everyone has nightmares - it was interesting to get an inside look at those of our Lost family.

Sawyer was my favourite one to write, (I always hated Cooper for having told Sawyer that his mother wanted desperately to be taken away from her life, I could totally see it destroying what good memories he still had of his mother).
But thanks for reading, glad you liked it!

These are all such brilliant little insights - just short little tastes that pack a huge amount of punch. You can guess which ones were my favourites, no doubt ;), but they all really resonate with the characters. I do like to think that this is some little AU in which Alex and Karl managed to survive (time warp? mistake on Ben's part?)... all Karl's associations with Romm 23 are especially telling, and chilling.

Now, let me think for one minute, which would have been your favourites...
This was the first time I'd really tried writing Karl and Alex, so I'm glad that you liked it (I think, that of all the fics I ever wrote, this fic has been my personal favourite to date).
But anyway, thanks for reading and commenting (and agree with the icon: did not happen!)

Thanks for the rec in the Hurley thread. I missed this the first time you posted. You always do such a good job with these ensemble insights. I thought the Libby angle was original and so sad. Great work!

Thanks for reading! If it's true that Libby's story is done (unless it's some kind of big double bluff and she will be back) then the above will remain her backstory forever in my mind!

It had been kind of hard to write backstory for her because of having to fit in with what was known about her, but hopefully this fits!
