Episode 4x09 is certainly the most sympathetic I've ever felt towards Ben, for the reasons above. Got to admit though, something I had been thinking about is, what must it have been like for Danielle, since the last thing she would have heard was Alex saying "I'm Ben's daughter"? Don't know if I'll ever end up writing that one though!

Do you think we'll EVER get any backstory on Libby? They keep promising it every season and it never seems to come to anything. I just knew that the appearance of her in 4x08 was going to be her appearing in a vision to Michael, rather than any actual backstory on her (wasn't sure quite how her backstory could be told in a Michael episode, since there had been no reason to believe that they'd known each other before, but was a disappointment anyway.) I hope that it does turn out to be something like what I wrote above (always HATED the theory that Libby was a plant and I will not be happy if that is true!) I think there could have been so much potential for Libby, especially if she and Desmond had ever met on the island, killing her was a big mistake.

And Charlie...all I can say is that I hope that we see him again in some way, I would like to see him appear to other characters.
