Suspicious? I hadn't thought of that. I only crossed out something I had thought to write down but decided was trite and ridiculous.

It's a generally accepted rule of these things that you write something to everyone or nothing. Something tends to be ridiculous and trite. If you write a lot and cross it out, people think you're either emotional, indecisive, or both.
