Oh this is wonderful. I love that Meredith is a butch. it justs... fits. And the sex is so real. I rarely read femmeslash becuase it never comes off as real but this is perfect.

It's kind of lame, but Meredith laughs, a real laugh, not her sardonic, just-one-of-the-guys chuckle. "You're such a dork," she says, before bending her head down again.

I love that -- that your Jay is recognizably John in her dorkitude. And Mer being anxious about penetration -- wish I knew the backstory there. (Er -- only if it comes with substantial comfort from Jay! :-)

and Of course she's bossy in bed, she thinks, spreading Meredith open with her fingers.

As for the penetration thing, there's actually no real trauma other than Mer worrying that Jay'll be annoyed. Mer's what some friends call a "gold star lesbian"--she's never had sex with a man--and, like some women, she's just not all that keen on penetration.

Oooh, that was gorgeous. Why oh why can't we get women who are comfy and don't shave in canon? I'd be thrilled to get more in this universe... once the holiday crunch was over...

I am planning on writing more; I feel like I should take my various series and either cycle through them a part at a time, or assign days to them, so Monday I work on the girls, Tuesday on Kept Verse, Wednesday on Ventura Verse and so on.
