yay! this is great - the banter felt very in-character, and the sex was fun and hot, and I like the glimpses we get of a larger universe. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this trope. :)

I really enjoyed this - they're both still so in character, despite the changes. I love that they talk about the butch/femme thing, and that Meredith just isn't into being penetrated - that there's no trauma or anything, it's just part of her.

Thank you! It was fun to try to keep them recognizable as Shep and McKay. And yeah, I wanted to try to have the whole thing feel as real as possible; these are things that come up and with these two, there wouldn't be much in the way of talking before hand. Or, if Jay has her way, afterward. :)
