I had to go back and read it from the beginning, twice. I think I can manage to comment now. *g*

In an ideal world, what people like in bed, or what sex organs they're born with, would have nothing to do with their role in society.

What I love about this world is that the power struggles are taking place amidst rigid societal expectations. Society and their stupid tests determined how Sean is supposed to live, even what he's supposed to feel. It's a mirror of our world, where men aren't supposed to cry, and women are supposed to remember everyone's birthday.

Being a sub in this fictional world brings with it so much hideous baggage. Like women, subs face two extremes, sexual harassment at one end, chivalry at the other, and both are equally demeaning. Not recognizing that is how Xanthe's fic failed.

It's getting more difficult to keep my brain from falling out of my ears when I read this world. I could blame the horrid headcold, but you guys are easier targets. LOL

Love what you're doing with this story. Repressive societies create tension and I'm feeling it just worrying what's going to happen next.

Sean's blushing is just sooo cute I could eat him! You know somehow even if Bill finds out about Sean lying I think he'd appreciate it in some way for Sean giving him what he needed. It's great they're both getting want they want and in such a hot way too!
