I am enjoying this very much ! It makes me smile every time.I love the old-fashioned,courteous, ghostly Viggo, being good and giving Orlando his privacy in the bathroom and tactfully withdrawing to the kitchen to give him a private, intimate moment.I also love the way he is sabotaging all the appliances. Looking forward to seeing how this will develop.

I love how Viggo can be so gentlemanly and courtly and just plain gentle when it comes to kissing and sex and privacy, kissing his hand and all, but such a selfish shit about the appliances. [wry smile] I mean, he could just stay out of the kitchen at least, you know? But instead he's determined to bring Orlando back to the 18th century, or at least the earlyish 20th, will he or nill he. [eyeroll/poke] The juxtaposition of attitudes makes him interesting, though. And I'm still very much looking forward to their first conversation or two after the lightbulbs (or candles, LOL!) go on in Orlando's head. :)

Ah, a ghost after me own heart. Water boiled in the microwave makes flat-tasting tea! Silly boy. He may just find that less dependence on zippy appliances grants him a slower, more civilized home life.

It's too bad Vig makes Orlando chilly if he gets too close, though. What a drag that he doesn't create a warm spot around himself, instead. I like the way he worries about taking advantage of a (much) younger man.

"He sqirms as he remembers the hunger of those kisses, the heat of them and yet they also had an old-fashioned tenderness to them".

What a delightful chapter! And what a wonderful old-world gentleman Viggo's proving to be!

Just lovely.
