Breads for a bulk crop: pear and zucchini
Today, in 96-degree heat, I made these breads. They are both well worth the effort. The zucchini bread is sort of a cross between a bread (which you can slice and eat out of hand) and a casserole (which wants a spoon). We cut it and ate it on plates with a fork. I just fixed the pump on my washing machine. I had to remove the front panel, but not only did I figure out how to do that (who knew the socket on the drill that holds the bits exactly fits around those tiny nuts on the panels?) but I immediately recognized the problem as soon as I found it. -
