Y'know, in the old Chinese legends dragons and people pair up fairly regularly, so that concept wasn't a problem for me. Like Orlando here, the Asian dragons are sentient and just about human underneath their scales, so it doesn't really feel like bestiality.

However, I have yet to read a Chinese fairy tale that went into explicit, yummy, squirm happily in my chair detail. Hee!

Well we obviously don't have a problem with it seeing as the whole point of the fic was to get to some kind of dragon/human lovin'. *grins* Glad it was squirmy; that's a great compliment.

Having sewn leather, I have to say that Sean was just echoing my experience; it's a real pain. :)

So much to enjoy in this installment. Love that Orlando apparently gets PDS (pre-dragon syndrome) with his moodiness before the change each month; Sean's matter-of-fact practicality of obtaining food for the dragon each time; his grumpiness at having to sew through leather; and the "human acting as a mate should."

Love that the dragon is increasingly aware of Sean as his mate, even in dragon form, and the way the men are growing increasingly aware of how much they love and need each other. Altogether very enjoyable. thank you.

Thank you! I love Hilary's Orlando, both as himself and as a dragon; she does a good job of conveying that the dragon is both sentient and not human. And of course I like to write Sean as practical; once he's accepted that his lover turns into a dragon, he's going to make sure all the little details work out.

Great chapter!

And the two of them are SUCH men, what with their inability to communicate (that is, even when Orlando isn't a dragon). Sean keeps waiting for Orlando to leave, and Orlando keeps hoping that Sean will declare his love.

Sheesh.

Aren't they just total blokes? *grins* It's always just a little frustrating to try to remember that most guys don't talk about their feelings even if it makes the writers want to smack them.
