Columbus does much better, bolstered by the fact that there's a Barnes and Noble and a giant music store and the REALLY BIG LIBRARY all within a block.

To #4--meeeee tooooo! I don't object to other people in shorts/sleeveless shirts/whatever, but if my hemline is near the top of my socks I start to feel indecent.

Exactly. Other people can wear what they like (as long as they aren't fat people that are exposing their midriff), but I don't even let my ankles show.

The crowd I saw Pirates with are geeky, but not to the point of kitting out for movies. For my part, I was happy enough with an excuse to dress up in normal clothes; cute dress, heels, a little makeup. alphadsnz_fb took one look at me and said, "I should change, shouldn't I?" So I got him into sexy dark grey trousers and a black dress shirt. Meh, we were slightly overdressed but it made me happy to feel like a girl again.

Also, you've misspelled squyd's name.
