So, the new owners of my house came by with their architect. Was supposed to be for half an hour. The house is filled to the rafters with boxes and...boxes and I wondered how they could even measure anything when they couldn't even get into the rooms...but, hey, that was their problem ( Read more... )

honestly, i don't get people who always wear shorts (unless they own some offshore holding company and live in bermuda and sip mai tais out of coconuts all day). i knew a dude in rochester who did that. it could be -8 degrees and he'd have shorts on. way to go there, you're real tough. Old Man Winter must be REALLY impressed.

there was a guy at my college who always wore shorts as well. he said pant legs bothered his leg hairs (????). of course, college was in the south, so it's not the same as the winters up here.
