Sadly it has been forever since I found anything new and exciting >:( I would be just as excited as you to find some recs!

Exactly! No matter what, I always end up coming back to them from time to time. They are my absolutely OTP. They are so amazing together, I -who normally hates AUs- love to read them in any situation possible, as long as they are IC, fic will be good!

Only rec I can give you so far: Torrid. They are quite IC in this, there is a bit of NaruNeji but overall fic is good. WIP.

I've checked dozens of NaruSasu rec lists, and I feel bad for saying this, but people rec crap sometimes. *shakes head* Maybe I turned into a picky bitch over the years... :/

Me too - about the actually liking AUs thing, I mean! It's like they're just such an extreme pairing that somehow they can be reincarnated anytime, anywhere, in any form, and the fact that they should make out will never change XDDD

I think the longer you hang around fandom/the internet, the more actually amazing high quality works out there you discover... and the higher your standards get ;D Tis a curse sometimes!

Btw, there are a few reincarnation fics other there! But sadly, they are kinda meh. I'm still reading one, will let you know if it's any good. :D

OH OH OH sn_exchange!!!!! You're right, I had totally forgotten about that amazing community. There must be something good there, right?? Like some epic fanfic. /desperately needs good fanfic. ;_;

That fanart... *sighs* So beautiful. I don't know why, though, I'm not in the mood for canon!NaruSasu, it's like canon saddens me and I don't want to get into canon angst or anything. I'm not ready to get out of my AU fest. :(

I have to say Blue Calm was kinda weird and too sad for my taste, too. But I'm a sucker for 10-Rankai, so finally getting a new doujinshi from her was enough to get me happy. lol

Anyway, I understand what you mean about fandom/what you like. I've got such specific things I need in a fic for it to be good, that it's hard to find something satisfactory... :/

Also, OMG HIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How have you been? I have to say I adore your Naruto entries, I always read your journal and am like <333333

There are definately some epic fanfics among the different rounds. A handful certainly gave me happiness boosts. I guarantee you'll like some! XD

Oh, I see. I'm in the opposite direction, I want canon canon canon and things that deal with canon (and Sasuke, it's Sasuke ;_;) in a non jump-into-bed or 'i know what's right and hey i was right!' way. Ergh. It's like I'm looking for the right mix of gen yet DEFINATELY SASUNARU in exactly the right ratios that fit my brain X'D. I dunno, I kept going back to Choosing Who by gelfling during the start of this period but there's only so many times one can reread a fic.

And I've been okayyy~~ starting to focus on future career stuff rather than SN now (pffff though it is still living in my brain, definately won't stop there) so less Naruto entries, I'm glad you find them entertaining though. How have YOU been? And you thinking of making icons-- that reminded me, that was how I started talking to you XD that was forever ago!

I've read a few fics already (wut? I'm a fast reader lol) and some are really good. I'm mostly checking the lighter/crackier fics for now. Will get onto heavier stuff tomorrow. Need to get myself ready first for it. :P

I'm more of a KakaIru fan, but I do like SasuNaru. I don't actively seek it out though for some reason. I would rec megyal's fic (Make things so) Complicated. He/she mostly writes KakaIru, I absolutely *adore* their KakaIru fics, but I came across this one while going through their stuff. Uh, I hope you like it (if you haven't read it already).

Would you mind sharing some of your favs? I'm always up to read some good fics.

I'd rec zrina, anything she has ever written is perfect and beautifully IC.

Also, anything you can find by rasengan22. It still saddens me that she deleted her journal and everything. :(

kamikazexxx has my favorite WIP at the moment, Torrid. ♥

And then some classics like Spiral Falling by beccaamon, At The End of All Things by silvaren or Chasing Naruto by AkaiTsume.

I like SasuNaru, but only Shippuden SasuNaru. At first they were a bit too young for me to ship and all and I honestly disliked Naruto cuz he was your typical shounen brat. But then when shippuden started I don't know I suddenly fell for those two. The angst is unbelievable, the plot is intriguing, the chemistry and the interaction between the two got 5395792 more interesting, Naurto is helplessly in desperate love with Sasuke, etc etc

Surprisingly, the Sasuke based on a guy Kishi had the gay for in high school ain't that unthinkable. It was always pretty obvious he had the hots for Sasuke. LOL

B-but the NaruSasu ending... *shakes head* How in the world is he going to manage that? Both dying together with some epic endless love confession? O_o

yup, both dying with some extreme gay subtext. I feel that if it's beautifully done I don't mind it, I'd prefer it over ONE of them dying probably sasuke. The fandom will go on on girls will write fics about their afterlife together or something lol.

Ahhh, I finally didn't write the island fic (I outlined it and saved it for later). I had another idea and have been writing it on my little spare time. Almost 10.000 words already. :D
