I have a love hate relationship with technology. Some days I'm McGee. Other days I'm Gibbs. :-):-)

Yeah, unless you're up in the panhandle, you're not likely to see much snow in Florida. :-)

Y'all get more snow than we do, though. How did the horses take it? :-)

I love those pictures, that smile is sooo - almost childlike in its utter glee, isn't it?

Right now we'd all give that sort of smile for just a couple of days' rain...

The whole city gets gleeful when it snows.

Well, unless you *have* to be out in it, cuz lots of folks don't have the clothes for it. :-) At least we had sufficient warning and they were able to treat at least some of the roads to keep them from freezing over.

As for the rain, we've still got that. But then, we usually do. Seattle's got nuthin' on us.

Wonderful pics! LOL! We don't get snow *that* often and when we do it's such a joy. Of course those times when it stays around for about 6 weeks make me hate it - but when it's that rare one-off snowfall and all the kids are out enjoying it - then it's just lovely.

The one-offs are the only kind we get. :-) There was *one* winter back in the early 70s when we had snow off and on for almost two weeks. Man, we got a *lot* that year. Well, for Houston values of "a lot". ;-) It was at least enough to hide all the green grass in yards that had been mowed recently. :-)

The woman is Cynthia, a friend of mine for almost 2 decades. She's married to Jay, one of the bandmates of my ex-. He writes one of the computer columns for the Chronicle and hosts Technology Bytes on KPFT. Cynthia is extremely creative and very cool.

Man, talk about a small world! Tell her she's got a lovely smile and if she'd rather I took the pictures down, I will, but since I got them off the Chronicle's site, something tells me she won't mind. :-)

Isn't it, though? She wouldn't mind at all. She's used to her picture being every where as Jay is a very good photographer and likes to use her in his photos. It was just a wonderful small world-ism. :D
