Women are not that hard to understand. It's men who are confusing. But I'm here to help. To deal with women, follow these simple rules. Nine times out of ten, the woman will be responsive ( ... )

I definitely agree with the 'flatter us and give us sparkly things' sentiments, as well as the honesty, but I have to say...

At our age, if a woman is upset because her man went drinking with the boys? Run, boy, run very fast, away from the needy thing...

No, not upset because he went. Upset because she wasn't invited along, and it wasn't a 'this is a boy's night event'. I assumed (and you know what assuming does) that if it was a 'boy's night' event, she'd have known about it ahead of time - not when he walked in the door at 3 am. :)

If you understood women, you would explode in an unbearable lightness of knowledge. You'd be like Eve with the apple and the snake and all that biznazz.

(Stay the fuk up out my biz nazz. Thank you, Ludacris.)

two things:

women love to discuss their problems.
men love to fix stuff.

we don't want you to fix everything. so ask us when we start bitching if we want something fixed or just to vent. and if you don't want us to vent at you about stuff that you don't want to or can't fix, then ask us not to make you into our girlfriend instead of our guy friend.

in other words, don't let us discuss our problems with you unless you're not going to fix them. and if you let us discuss stuff and you don't fix it, don't be surprised when we don't think of you as a guy we could date.

it's not really that difficult.
well. sometimes it is.
