Yesterday when I was down at the bodega for my daily purchase of bottled Diet Coke (which I insist tastes better than crack from a can), the lady who runs the shop complimented my taste in shirts. It was, in fact, the second day in a row she complimented my fashion choices ( Read more... )

I think 28 has become the new 25 in that those of us who are single who reach 28 start to see the post-20s on the horizon that a lot of people used to see at 25.

You're telling me. In a year I'm more likely than not taking a year off from all things social to get my degree. When I get back to New York I'll be 29 with no prospects. I'm going to become a walking chick lit novel and it freaks me out.
